The HAI CommunityBig Ten begins an exciting new era of football in 2023, its first year of a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar deal with CBS, Fox and NBC. But, for one unfortunate moment in Saturday's Michigan-East Carolina game, the conference accidentally branded its own product as, ahem, a "big turd."

Of course, the sign actually reads, "B1G SATURDAY," but the positioning of announcers Chris Simms and Mike Tirico blocked out all but "B1G TURD."

It's a lesson learned for Simms, Tirico, Peacock and the Big Ten, who should all take pains next time to make sure such a mistake doesn't occur. Their next chance is in Week 2 for Delaware's trip to Penn State. But mistakes tend to live forever on the internet.
